Phantom Blade Zero Pre-Orders Open with an 11-Minute New Trailer
Pre-orders are live on PS5, Steam, and Epic Games Store, while a new trailer expands the story, combat, and Donnie Yen's role as Mó Yuan.
S-GAME announced on August 12, 2026 that Phantom Blade Zero is now available to pre-order on PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The launch of pre-orders is accompanied by an approximately 11-minute trailer with a closer look at the story, characters, enemies, and rapid combat.

The pre-order bonuses are early unlocks
The confirmed pre-order bonuses are:
- Treasure Basin, an accessory that increases Remnant Dust drops by 10%;
- The Legacy outfit.
Both items are described as early unlocks. S-GAME states that they can also be obtained through normal in-game progression, so choosing not to pre-order does not permanently remove access to them.
Standard and Digital Deluxe editions
The Standard Edition contains the full game. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds:
- The Deluxe-exclusive Wulin Legend outfit;
- The Deluxe-exclusive Blood-Steel Form outfit;
- A digital artbook;
- A digital soundtrack.
Pricing, payment methods, and displayed unlock times vary by region. Players should check the store attached to their own account before buying. Official pre-order destinations are PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Donnie Yen is revealed as Mó Yuan
The new trailer identifies the man seen cradling an infant as Mó Yuan, leader of the Bastion of Mó. Donnie Yen provides the character's facial and motion-capture performance.
S-GAME also says that Yen has served as a creative consultant on Phantom Blade Zero since 2023, contributing to the game's overall kungfu style and action design. For a project that treats the language of wuxia cinema as a central creative pillar, the announcement connects his role directly to the production rather than presenting it as a simple celebrity cameo.
Three things to take from the trailer
First, the trailer places earlier fragments of combat within a clearer story context. Soul's pursuit, the conspiracy around him, and several character relationships are beginning to form a more coherent outline.
Second, combat continues to emphasize rapid movement, weapon transitions, deflection, and counterattacks, now shown across a wider range of enemies and bosses. The footage establishes the intended pace and visual direction, but controls, difficulty, and performance will still need to be judged from the final release.
Third, the complete edition breakdown and live store pages indicate that the release campaign has moved into a more concrete stage. The official website continues to list October 29, 2026 as the worldwide release date. Some PC storefronts may display an adjacent calendar date because of regional unlock times.
